What’s Happening in Williamsburg This Weekend

FRIDAY

Get ready for a sun soaked, flavor packed adventure in mixology! This Summer Cocktail Class dives into seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs, and warm weather flavors while teaching guests the essential techniques behind shaking, stirring, muddling, and balancing citrus. You’ll explore light spirits and low ABV bases, master the art of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness, and understand making your own syrups, shrubs, and gorgeous garnishes. Then we bring it all together with guided builds of summer inspired cocktails. Along the way, we’ll cover ice, tools, and glassware so every drink looks as good as it tastes. A perfect summer experience for beginners, enthusiasts, and anyone who loves a great cocktail.

Ticket includes appetizers for snacking, instruction, demonstration and hands on education by our Executive Mixologists.

You will craft 3 summer cocktails:
1) A "Flamer" (Yes, your cocktail will actually be ON FIRE!)
2) A "Mojito"
3) A "Surprise" - (No, literally it's a surprise that you will NOT want to miss!)

Additional cocktails will be available for purchase if desired. It will definitely be a night of Mixology Madness and fun!

🏳️‍🌈 Ian Aber is a comedian, writer, and producer whose sharp, q***r‑centered comedy has taken him from NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity finals to stages across the country. His work appears on SiriusXM and Audible, and he’s opened for Margaret Cho, Jo Firestone, and Fortune Feimster. Ian has performed at top festivals including Limestone, 10,000 Laughs, Accidental, Orlando Indie, Scruffy City, Whiskey Bear, Burning Bridges, and Laughing Skull. In Atlanta, he co‑produces long‑running shows like Date Night, Urban Tree Comedy, Back Story, and specialty shows like sweetbabycheeses, Surrogates Interactive Comedy, and Q***r History Live. He also hosts the podcast Str8 Ppl: A Minor Look at the Majority.

🏳️‍🌈 Kade Wonders is a fearless q***r stand‑up comic from Richmond, VA, known for sharp, playful comedy about gender, masculinity, and everyday absurdity. Describing themselves as “your little brother, your big brother, and your le***an aunt in one pint‑sized package,” Kade brings inclusive, mischievous energy to every set. They host Don’t Tell Comedy Richmond and have performed at DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, The Elysian Theater, Rogue Island Comedy Festival, and Vermont Comedy Festival. They’ve opened for Nico Carney, Heather Shaw, and Michael Yo, and created The Gayest Show on Earth, a comedy/drag series spotlighting q***r performers.

🏳️‍🌈 David Griffin, a New Orleans native, is a stand‑up comedian, writer, and “professional father” whose warm, witty storytelling draws from his Southern upbringing, pastor‑kid childhood, and family life. With charm, sharp humor, and a fondness for red wine, he offers a playful take on faith, music, and everyday magic. His daughter recently wrote “Why My Dad Is My Second Favorite Comedian,” proving even at home he’s still working the room.
