Originally our latest Captain’s Club private release, our Maple Cask Finished Dawson’s Reserve Bourbon is now available to the public in an extremely limited batch.
We are releasing only 10 cases!

Dawson's Reserve Bourbon is a unique, hand-crafted bourbon that showcases the rich heritage of Virginia. This bourbon is crafted with a wheated mash bill of 60% corn, 20% wheat, and 20% hand-malted barley, using peachwood smoked barley. Aged in new oak barrels for over five years, this bourbon is named in honor of the late Billy Dawson, a Virginia farmer whose company supplies Copper Fox with grain. This special batch of Dawson's Reserve is finished in Vermont maple casks for an additional year, giving it a delightful smoothness.

Maple Cask Finished Chestnut American Wh**ky!
Now available online, while supplies last.

The flavor journey continues! We were able to acquire some very rare and exceptional American chestnut wood, and...well...you know...we went a little nuts. But then we took it a bit further, we acquired some maple barrels from Vermont, and we took a 5 year old Chestnut American Wh**ky and finished it for 1 year in a maple syrup barrel. This release is like fond holiday seasons past in a bottle! Scott Campbell, our CFO's first product creation!

True to our craft and desire to offer new flavors to the wh**ky world, our latest release is made with 64% corn, 27% in-house hand malted barley, and 9% oats; all 100% Virginia grown. Double pot-stilled to between 150 and 160 proof, then aged in used bourbon barrels infused with a proprietary blend of new and used toasted oak & chestnut wood for 5 years, and then finished for 1 year in a barrel that had been used to age grade "A" Vermont maple syrup.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich aromas of Snickerdoodle cookie, roasted nuts, and maple syrup

Palate: Sweet with a pleasant viscosity; flavors of cinnamon sugar, sweet potato, oatmeal cookies, maple and caramel

Finish: long and warming, extraordinarily smooth.

A twist on an American classic, that is uniquely Copper Fox. A great choice for artisan cocktails or sipping.

Our barrels go on adventures. They just came home from a WJCC Schools Fundraiser, and they are getting ready for the Williamsburg Bluegrass Festival tomorrow! Are you ready?
