The Young Dancer Project of Ocean and Monmouth County NJ Committed to bringing dance to children by fitting into the nonprofit after-school intramural sports programs in the Ocean & Monmouth Country area.

The Young Dancer Project is what Norman Yee has called, “Mad Hot Ballroom meets the West Coast”...and yes, it is. Designed to fit into the nonprofit afterschool structures, this program is administered by every nonprofit that works with ExCEL programs: Boys and Girls Club, JCC, YMCA…and in its first year(2012), received a $3 million grant from the SF Symphony’s Black and White Ball. There has been a lot of interest in how people can help bring The Young Dancer Project to your local school. The answer is LOBBY! Write your school board, governor, and senator. Tell them you want your child to experience The Young Dancer Project here in Monmouth and Ocean County. The more they hear the demand for The YDP, the quicker it'll happen. Thanks for everyone's support!
