Hey everyone, Ray here. For the time being Bass Parade is on an indefinite hiatus. I had plans to keep it going but SFL has me so busy as a DJ alone that I can't give my show the attention it needs to make it happen.

I've given the rights to 926 Bar & Grill, if anyone would like to use the name or anything please talk to them and they can reach out to me if needed.

Otherwise, thanks for some of the best years that I'll never forget.

Hey everyone, I see there are events starting to happen in Tally.

Safety is the utmost importance to me - so I'm waiting until 926 Bar & Grill feels its safe to open up their dance floor for events before I make any plans with Bass Parade.

Be safe everyone, and my DMs are ALWAYS open for any questions, ideas and/or concerns.

March was not the last show.
Things are on hold with the COVID situation going on.

Alot of ppl asked me if the March show was the last one, and a ptron made me realize that it was (more than likely) my fault.

My move from Tallahassee was highly unexpected, so I had to figure out alot of things out on the fly and make alot of quick decisions (I usually booked 3-4 months ahead, i fell way behind on planning shows - I was slightly overwhelmed).

I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so I probably may have sent the wrong signals to patrons or made it look like I was done with Bass Parade. In reality, I was just trying to get situated in SFL and figure everything out.

I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused - once this global situation is over I'll be back up to start (or at least consult) the next chapter for Bass Parade and see where it goes from there!

ABOUT OKEECHOBEE... AND A FEW UPCOMING CHANGES TO THE BASS PARADE Dance Party MAGIC:
- Some of you were bummed that the next show will be during Okeechobee.

- I can't move my dates. Myself and the 926 Bar & Grill family agreed long ago to lock Bass Parades to the first Thursday of the month. It really sucked when i moved a date only for ANOTHER BIG THING to fall on that date and then be behind on the next event's promo etc etc. This also works for my work [gig] schedule in SFL.

- I'm also rolling back to 1x show a month. Makes things a little less stressful on my part. Coming up to Tally 2x a month isn't feasible, and I know how I get when I'm all-over-the-place. I'd rather pull off one decent show* vs. 2 sloppy ones, bc quality over quantity.

- Either way, it looks like Capital Sound's got some great shows to fill out the month(s) coming up anyway. CS Presents: kLL sMTH & Base2 is looking huge. Props to those fellas.

- my music. Since I've moved I've had some time to pick up some new tricks (and tracks) for my sets. Here's my set from the last show to show you what to expect from my future sets. It's pretty fresh:

*I'm making bigger changes to the Bass Parade formula as well. I've told some fans at the last show - but I can't say anything more bc I don't wanna promise rainbows... and give you a turd. My BIGGEST concern was keeping BP the same, affordable, accessible experience its always been (even after said changes)... and its looking like it will be. You'll know when it happens.

I'm gonna try something new for this show - and announce that anyone who wants to set up live art / booth at Bass Parade: Pop-Up Wub to show up anytime before doors (I'm usually there by 7:30pm) and take all the space you need.

I always allow artists and vendors to get in for free - just be sure to remind me to give you a vendor/artist band before the night starts so there's no confusion.

It'll be good to see some familiar faces, I've missed you guys!
