Another fun Tuesday night brought Pattern Partner dancing, line-dance lessons, Halloween favorites, new choreography, and a full hour of open requests! We were glad to welcome new dancers and couples, and loved seeing everyone help each other learn and feel at home on the dance floor. ❤️

This lively new dance brought the heat! Shawn broke down the footwork, turns, transitions, restart, and tag, then we put the sections together with the music. Everyone worked hard, encouraged one another, and took on the challenge with great energy. 🔥👏

🎶 OPEN-REQUEST HOUR

After the lessons, the floor was open for requests, extra practice, and familiar favorites. It was a great chance to dance, visit, and help one another through the steps.

Tuesday nights are about the dancing, the friendships, and making everyone feel welcome. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening special. We’re looking forward to seeing you back on the floor next week! ❤️

A warm welcome to the new dancers who joined us! Learning the steps, finding your rhythm, and remembering which way to turn all take practice. We loved seeing everyone give it a try, ask questions, and keep dancing. 🤗

Thank you to our returning dancers for sharing the floor, offering encouragement, and helping newcomers feel welcome. That friendly spirit is a big part of what makes our Sunday-night dance family special! ❤️

October began with a terrific Tuesday night filled with Pattern Partner dancing, line-dance lessons, seasonal favorites, new choreography, plenty of laughter, and a full hour of open-request dancing! ❤️🎶

We were especially happy to welcome more new couples and line dancers to the floor. It was wonderful watching our returning dancers answer questions, offer encouragement, and help everyone feel comfortable and included in our growing Tuesday-night dance family. 🤗

The evening featured two exciting new teaches—Weren’t for the Wind during the Pattern Partner lesson and Boots On Fire during the line-dance lesson—along with several recent dances and the return of a Halloween favorite! 👻🔥

Going Blonde 4-2 returned for its first review after being introduced the previous Tuesday.

Shawn and Kevin revisited the footwork, turns, hand changes, positioning, and movement around the circle. The dance begins in Sweetheart Position and uses the same footwork for both partners, making it an enjoyable addition to our Beginner Pattern Partner lineup.

Everyone looked more comfortable with the pattern, and the catchy music made it fun to bring this recent favorite back onto the floor! 💃🕺👏

Shawn and Kevin reintroduced Weren’t for the Wind, a High Beginner Pattern Partner dance set to the popular country song by Ella Langley.

They broke the choreography down section by section, helping everyone work through the footwork, partner positioning, hand connections, and movement around the circle.

Learning a new partner dance always requires communication, patience, and teamwork, and everyone did a wonderful job helping their partners and becoming more confident with each repetition. ❤️👏

It was the perfect dance to begin getting everyone into the Halloween spirit. 🕸️🫰

This energetic Improver dance provided an enjoyable challenge and kept everyone focused from beginning to end. The class worked hard, encouraged one another, and did a terrific job taking on another exciting new routine! 👏💃🕺

🎶 OPEN-REQUEST HOUR

After the lessons wrapped up, the dance floor opened for requests, additional practice, and familiar favorites!

Some dancers practiced the evening’s new teaches and reviews again, while others requested dances they had been looking forward to enjoying. The final hour gave everyone time to relax, socialize, help one another, and share even more time on the dance floor.

Tuesday nights are about much more than counts, steps, turns, tags, and restarts. They are about welcoming new dancers, supporting one another, building confidence, strengthening friendships, and creating memories with the wonderful people dancing has brought into our lives. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped us begin October with another terrific evening! Whether you learned a brand-new dance, reviewed a recent favorite, joined us for the first time, helped another dancer, or simply enjoyed the music and friendships, you helped make Tuesday night special.
