BACK 2 SCHOOL WITH Andrew Terry Michael Harlander 🖤

Class is officially in session for the underground. Veteran DJ and West Coast fixture Drew Harlander is stepping up to the decks for our upcoming Back 2 School night.

A staple of dance floors and airwaves from Seattle to SoCal, Drew has been shaping the darkwave scene since the 2000s. Alongside his long-running residency at Club Sabbat, he co-hosts On The Edge Radio - the world’s longest-running terrestrial Goth and Industrial radio broadcast. When he isn’t schooling crowds behind the DJ booth, you’ll find him in the studio crafting heavy-hitting remixes and finishing his debut dark electronic EP under his moniker, HARLANDER. Andrew Harlander has also been living with an HPV tongue tumor since 2019, with ongoing treatments inspiring his first book of poetry Cancer Boy Diaries to be released in October.

We are shining the spotlight on the incredible Nico for our Back 2 School takeover on Saturday, August 29th at Spin. She has been a true pillar of San Diego’s underground scene since 2001, and we cannot wait to see her light up the floor.

A professional makeup artist and creative, Nico has been transforming the dance floor with hypnotic performance art since officially joining the Go Go Ghouls in 2021. Classically trained in flamenco, cabaret, and belly dance, she brings over four years of dedicated Sabbat energy and a unique intensity of sharp fluidity to the stage.

From childhood acting on Nickelodeon to training at the Joffrey Ballet and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, these two have been performing together their entire lives. Now, they’re bringing that lifelong synergy straight to Sabbat.

✨ JOCELYN () – Born and raised in LA, Jocelyn holds a B.A. in Dance Science and manages world-class dance companies at The Music Center by day. Expect pure technical precision, hypnotic movement, and flawless energy when she commands the floor.

✨ JAQ.XS (.xs) – A powerhouse techno DJ/Curator splits time between SD and LA, running her own heavy-hitting projects like XSIBITION. She’s channeling her eccentric, hard-hitting energy directly into her Go-Go debut.
