Diamond Crown MAXIMUS has been thoughtfully reimagined with a sophisticated new band and packaging that reflect the bold, refined character of the cigar while remaining faithful to its roots.

The redesigned band pays tribute to the history behind Diamond Crown, incorporating “Semper Fidelis” — Latin for “Always Faithful” — as a reflection of our commitment to the craftsmanship and traditions that have guided our family business for generations. A second band features the Roman numerals for 1895, marking the year J.C. Newman Cigar Co. was founded.

For more than two decades, Diamond Crown MAXIMUS has been distinguished by its iconic packaging.

In 2002, Drew Newman designed the original royal blue “M” box, featuring its signature shoulders and feet. A decade ago, J.C. Newman refreshed the design by removing the “M” and deepening the box’s rich blue color.

Today, we are proud to introduce the next evolution of Diamond Crown MAXIMUS. Its stunning new handmade box is elevated on stately columns, with capitals on the lid and column feet—an elegant presentation for an exceptional cigar.
