I need less than 5 minutes of your time to help us by signing our petition.
Buddha Bar Restaurant is a highly respected upscale brand which serves every major city around the world except for New York City. Picken Real Estate, representing Buddha Bar Restaurant, had a lease signed for the premise located at 62 Thomas Street, New York, NY which previously did business as Megu Restaurant and prior to that, Obeca Restaurant. This premise has been operated as a restaurant for approximately 20 years!

The problem is: While Buddha Bar Restaurant's liquor application only requests a 1AM closing time, Community Board #1 nonetheless, unanimously voted against giving their support due to negative opinions expressed by a handful of local residents.

Please note: The entire north side of this block is for commercial use only.

SLA guidelines state, this type of application requires public support, not just support from nearby residents!

By signing this petition, you will be helping us to bring an international restaurant brand, best known as a place for networking business, to the financial district of New York!
