This cocktail pays tribute to the vibrant flavors of Cape Town — a historic port of call where James Cook and his crew would stop to replenish on their journey to the South Pacific.

As a crossroads for seafarers, Cape Town offered a melting pot of ingredients and culinary influences.

This drink captures that spirit with a split base of rye whiskey and cognac, layered with notes of roasted peanuts, lemongrass, coriander, and turmeric. A touch of sherry and aquafaba bring it all together, creating a smooth, textured sip with depth and balance.

Okay, here's a fun one! 🍹 We've been playing around with the classic Clover Club and gave it a little twist. This beauty is made with gin, lemon juice, a homemade raspberry oleo (super easy, just macerate raspberries and sugar overnight!), and a methycel solution instead of egg white, making it vegan-friendly. The raspberry oleo adds a lovely sweetness and that vibrant color. It's seriously delicious! Give it a try at home and let us know what you think.

Happy New Year, everyone! ✨

Looking for a festive drink that's a little different? This is a twist on a classic French 75, and it's perfect for any celebration! 🥂

It's super easy to make:

* 60ml of Gin based lemon liqueur
* Top with champagne

For the lemon liqueur, you macerate lemon peels with sugar, then add gin and let it infuse for about a week. Strain it, and add a touch of ascorbic and citric acid for that extra zing! 🍋
