In these uncertain times created by our so called president, It was a wonderful opportunity to turn off the TV and go to Japan and China and immerse myself into our Asian DCFCommunity for two months.
Swimming in the good vibes and camaraderie of a recreational drumming community with Tomoko Yokota, (Tom Tom), and Jim Boneau was the highlight of my year so far.
I hope to repeat that experience at our 28th annual Hawaii Playshop in August, as I'm excited to have TomTom join us in Hawaii as our Global Facilitator representative this year!
Jim Boneau will be there along with Tom Tom & Marry Tolena. I am grateful for the presence of these two talented and inspirational women at the program to help guide us in to another life changing experience at the end of a dead end road on the north shore of Oahu Hawaii.
AND In these uncertain times created by our so called president, people are afraid to venture out into the world. The result is that our Hawaii registration is lower than usual.
A smaller population will make it a very powerful and intimate experience. But we could use a few more people to make it past our break even point.
As I have discovered that when you turn off your television set and put yourself in paradise with a bunch of like minded spirits, the world is not such a scary place.
We are two and a half months away from our 2025 Hawaii Facilitators' Playshop and I am are reaching out to you in hopes that you will help us spread the word.
If you are a past participant of our Hawaii Facilitators’ Trainings, you are our most valuable ambassadors. You can speak from first-hand experience about how impactful a week away from a TV set and civilization can be while you're drumming on the edge of the sea on a volcano sitting in the middle of the pacific ocean.
