We're switching Latin night to Westie Night starting next week, Wednesday, April 26th.

Thank you to DJ Damian for playing exactly what the dancers needed! I wish more Djs/Instuctors/promoters understood that the tempos should be geared towards everyone. Nobody wants to feel foolish, especially the ladies. The majority of dancers are new and not ready for the crazy speeds being played. The leaders are not quite ready to get their point across at that tempo.
Fast, is not better, or cooler. js.
Also, The FREE lessons at these little places/restaurants are okay, but not great, and you all know it. It's too crowded and devalues the overall community. The restaurant just wants bar sales, they don't care about the dancer the way the teachers do.
Does everything have to be free? Stop being cheap, show up for lessons, real lessons, support your local pros and socials, and realize that FREE will kill the community. It's a worthy sport/hobby, pay something for it. You pay for dumber stuff.
