We've got a great opportunity for your staff to learn about the Heaven Hill Distillery brands from an amazing woman, Lynn House, their national spirits specialist.

Lynn will be in the lounge at 3pm to talk about the Heaven Hill brand and our industry. It should be a great opportunity for the GH area bartenders so feel free to tell your teams...we're looking at you The Kirby House, Lucy's & Lucy's Backyard, MO's Cocktail Lounge, Snug Harbor, Sporty's Bar, Hiway Inn, Stanz Cafe, Noto's at the Bil-Mar, Tip A Few Tavern, JW's Food & Spirits and Off The Chain. Of course our friends at Burzurk Brewing Co, Odd Side Ales and Grand Armory Brewing are more than welcome to join too.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we've had to make a last minute change to our band for this week...

Returning to the D&M stage as our special guests are The Tone Poets, featuring Mike Renna & Brandon Tabor from The Smokin' Dobroleles, and Tom Wall from Cosmic Knot! These are some talented fellas and if you haven't heard them play then you need to share some space with them! If you have seen them play, then we know we will see you this Sunday at 4pm!

Now that we are a week into our August features, we thought it would be a perfect time to post about them. The theme is

Food wise, we worked with USCG Grand Haven station chef Gerren Dane Bell to come up with the menu based on his station mates favorite meals.

Beverage wise, we stuck to a nautical theme for our August cocktails and are featuring some great local beers from Trail Point Brewing Company in Allendale, and some great wines from an interesting global concept wine brand The Seeker Wines.

We've got a great group, Round Creek Trio playing out back at The Dragon & The Mermaid! Come check them out and have some yummy "Tiki Tapas" and some tasty tiki cocktails and local craft beers!

We know you wouldn't get enough music yesterday at Walk The Beat so we planned ahead! One of our favorite trios, Round Creek Trio is playing in the backyard today at 4pm.
