We hope everyone is out enjoying the Festival of Leaves today!! We'll be open at 5 PM for all your post-festival wind-down (or wind up!) needs. Hungry? 🍔🥨 Thirsty? 🍻🍸Happy Meow-er is from 5-7 PM and features $5 craft b**rs, martinis, and small bites! But the fun doesn't end there...we're open until 1 AM with a full food menu, 80+ cocktails (including some new Halloween specials!), and live music from Helltown Riffraff from 8-11 PM! Who are Helltown Riffraff? Well....

Known for their gothic blues and rock with a country twang and led by Jeremy Rodgers's growling baritone and sinister songwriting, supported by Lani Urreta's warm harmonies and solid backbeat, driven forward by Charlie Loudermilk's funky and melodic bass grooves, and rounded out by Marie Andrews on glowing vocals, colorful ukes, soulful flutes, and other odd instruments, the Helltown Riffraff will have you nodding your head and smirking along all night.

Thursday 10/8 (8-10 PM): Live music from Junkyard Jones! Born in Galax, Virginia, Junkyard Jones has become a fixture on the entertainment scene in central and southwestern Virginia, and his contributions to American roots music have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In 2016, he won first place in both the banjo and guitar competitions at the Virginia Bluegrass Music State Championships, and his previous album, Patchwork, was included as part of the 'Fresh Sounds in the World of Bluegrass' by the International Bluegrass Music Association. In addition to his instrumental prowess, Junkyard is also a talented songwriter, with original compositions that fit seamlessly alongside traditional pieces. Whether performing with just a guitar and vocals, or live looping as a one man band, Junkyard Jones is a must-see artist for anyone interested in the rich and diverse musical heritage of the American South.

The Catamount Lounge has been chosen as one of a select few house parties and bars to show a private screening of the NOFX documentary "40 Years of Fu**in' Up," and host a Zoom Q&A with the band afterwards! That's right - watch the movie then chat with NOFX, right here in The Catamount Lounge! Screenings across the country are extremely limited, and the band says the documentary will never be available on any streaming services - so this may be your one chance to watch this movie in the state of Virginia! Doors will open at 7 PM, the movie starts at 8 PM, followed by the Q&A!

We've got some spooky new food specials for you at The Catamount Lounge! It's SCARY how delicious these are!! Check out what's new, including...

Bat Wings: Baked chicken wings tossed in a spicy squid ink buffalo sauce, topped with green onions and served with house-made ranch.

Butternut Squash Soup: Topped with roasted pepitas, crema, and charred rosemary.

Bavarian Pretzel Sticks: Brushed with butter, topped with salt, served with house-made b**r cheese.

Spooky Halloween Pizza: House-made black squid ink pizza dough, topped with bacon, jalapenos, cheese, and scary little mushroom "skulls"! This one was such a hit last year we had to bring it back 😀

Oktoberfest Burger: 1/3 lb. beef burger topped with sauerkraut, b**r cheese, and grain mustard aioli on a pretzel bun.
