Construction update from your friends at Sidecar + Cafe Rue Orleans 🚧
The city has been super communicative and has been working diligently to get the new entrance and construction wrapped up in front of us, and we’re really excited for what it’ll look like when it’s finished.
But we’re not gonna lie… it’s been a little rough on us in the meantime. Between the limited visibility on how to get into the parking lot and even more limited parking than normal, it’s been hard for us to fill our seats before we fill the lot.
So we’re asking our folks to rally behind us a little extra right now. Come spend some time with us at Sidecar and Cafe Rue Orleans. Grab a cocktail, a beer, a po’boy, linger a while, and if you can’t linger, come in and grab a giftcard, merch, or a to-go dinner for the family.
And if you can come hang with us — uber, walk, skate, bike, or carpool. Seriously, it helps us out more than you know. If we can fill the seats before we fill the parking lot, these little neighborhood spots keep rolling.
We truly can’t thank y’all enough for continuing to brave the construction and make your way in. You’re the reason places like ours stay alive, and we don’t take that for granted for a second.
