So Kowloon/The City just FU**ED us royally. The new owner and new Manager Chrisa. We had conversations about pushing off our opening date to Oct 7th and I just got the call at 2pm that they have booked Fridays out and we are cancelled. She threw other manager James under the bus claiming he was supposed to let us know and had "tried to get hold of me but couldn't." Which is bu****it because they all have my number. She has my number. We discussed this at Mom's wake in July. Again in August and AGAIN in SEPT when they bumped us back a week. Our final conversation was "So we're good to go on the 7th, right?" "Right!" Missing Kit Wah right now because he was a straight shooter, not a liar and bu****itter and blaming someone not there. Sorry everyone, no show tonight. We'll look into a new venue down the road.I'm not even going to blame the owner, this is all on the bar manager. F**k them.
