The South Carolina Music Theatre Project

The South Carolina Music Theatre Project Three main parts to our organization provide you with endless ways to be involved.

Auditioned Ensemble:
UP (university performers) is our group of auditioned vocalists, instrumentalists, actors, and dancers. The content for performances will primarily be scenes and selections in a cabaret like style and not full productions of shows. Education Outreach:
The student members involved in Education Outreach will work with schools in our community in order to promote the importance

of the performing arts as well as discuss educational and career opportunities within the performing arts through The South Carolina Music Theatre Project's own performances, vocal and/or drama instruction, and informative discussion based lectures on the numerous outlets for the performing arts within our community. Workshops and Master Classes:
A collaborative environment where students can perform for and critique their peers, network with local and non-local professionals in the performing arts, and acquire the skills necessary to be a successful artist.
