With a new generation showing up to electronic dance events around Colorado, we want to ensure everybody has an enjoyable time. This means an experience that's engaging and stimulating, without worry of one disrupting the vibe. The Hard-Pressed Elite seek to foster this type of environment, free from abuse, discrimination and any other wrongdoing enacted upon it's guests at any event we oversee. T
his being said, there can be immoral types that fall through the cracks and dupe, inhibit and abuse unsuspecting targets. While we like to remain optimistic of the morals our attendees incorporate, we've learned through experience that it's not always the case. Possessions can get stolen, fights can occur and rude behavior can take a toll. We'd like you all to party smart and a few tidbits of good advice can go a long way. The rule is one glass of water between every serving of alcohol to keep it from hitting you as hard as it could. Set up a ride-sharing app. Uber, Lyft or your local taxi. A DUI can cost you more than financially, it can cost the lives of you, your passengers and other drivers. Financially speaking, a DUI can cost upwards of $15k, while a taxi trip would be ~$20. Don't risk it for whatever reason you see fit. We like to think that the experience the production companies provide is stimulating enough, but drugs do pop up from time to time. If you're offered any type of pill, prescription or otherwise declining is always an option.
*If you must do drugs, you can research them first on PillReports.net. If someone is instigating a fight, be the better person and walk away. Talk to a security guard or a Hard-Pressed representative and we'll handle the matter. Leave valuables at home or in your car. If you aren’t going to use it at the club, it doesn’t need to travel with you. Large bags and purses are targets for theft so carry only what will fit in your pocket or wristlet. Things can get wild at our electronic dance events, but mind the boundaries of others if you engage in any type of sexual contact. A "yes" while under the influence is not consent. Wearing a certain outfit is not consent. The first "no" means no. When in doubt, ask! There's a zero-tolerance policy of unwanted sexual contact at any event the Har-Pressed family attends. Don't leave your drinks unattended. You can ask your bartender to put your glass behind the bar if you have to step outside. If you think your drink has been tampered with or you're experiencing odd symptoms: contact an Hard-Pressed rep or security guard immediately. We'll handle the the matter with the utmost care and discretion. We've been informed of a handful of injurious types who do not align with the HPE's criteria for how one should conduct themselves at an event and those individuals have been added to our blacklist. Blacklisted individuals are not welcomed to join us in the events we attend. While HPE fosters a generally inclusive environment and welcomes people from all walks of life, regardless of race, gender identity, religion, sexual preference and the like, we must also be vigilant of the safety of our raver community. You deserve a safe space. You can help us make the scene safer by contacting our staff or a security guard during an event if you notice any improper or unsafe behavior. You can also message us at https://m.me/hpecolorado if you'd like to alert us about another guest's misconduct. We'll prioritize the concern highly. All in all, we're all responsible for the vibe and atmosphere of our shows. If you like what we do and want to see more of us, mind the vibe and keep your cool. It's a privilege to party with us, not a right. When in doubt, trust your instincts.
Thanks for making the scene awesome!
