While we wish that we were able to host all the assorted visitors we’ve come to know and love on Kepler 609-c during this star cycle, we are hard at work on renovating our space to provide the best lounge in the sector. Expect to see us in the next cycle, with familiar faces and new. And if anyone gives you trouble in the dust and dirt of this fringe world, just know our on site fixer is always ready to lend a hand. Stay safe out there, and have a blast! Don’t do anything Johnny wouldn’t do. 😉

This year was our first ever Flickin’ Bits tournament! The board was open for play all week, and Saturday afternoon when we reopened after our Wind Terraforming renovations we saw some epic showdowns from all 18 contenders! The semifinals were between John, Absolute Cold (who some refer to as being Ice Fingered), Golden, and our very own Phoenix. The final round came down to Golden and John, and with a name like Golden it should have been clear who was taking home to golden pineapple!!!

Congratulations again to our winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who joined the tournament and participated in learning and playing with us throughout the week. We look forward to next year and our Flickin’ Bits tournament being an annual event for the foreseeable future.

The Afterlife had an interesting V3.0 to say the least, and overall was a super success despite attempts from the landlady and other forces to evict us via wind gusts, sentinel raids, and other poorly planned maneuvering of mysterious forces. While we had to temporarily close in order to add a skylight to the bar, we finished out the week with visitors to Kepler 609c intact.

Our Phoenix was spotted scouting another region of Kepler 609c with Madame Queerly of the Divine Disciples of Lady Leota and other Neotropolis residents last night. That must mean reopening is imminent!! Will we be seeing you in two weeks? We hope so!!
