Cabaret Nights

Thank you Buffalo Rising 💜

Ladii’s Cabaret Lounge is designed to empower women, create safe spaces, and elevate entertainment. When I first met Monisha Groff (aka Ladii Mo (https://www.cabaretnights716.com/about)), Founder and Creative Director of Ladii’s Cabaret Lounge LLC, she was teaming up with the crew of The Art Party to participate in The Witches Ball (https://witchesballbuffalo.com/). Before long, I found myself asking about her cabaret business, her ties to The Art Party (https://www.instagram.com/theartparty_buffalo/), and an upcoming event that she was hosting at The Black Butterfy.

Let's have the conversation people usually avoid.

Adult entertainment is an industry.

And like every industry, the people working within it deserve conversations about:

• Leadership
• Workplace culture
• Financial literacy
• Safety
• Boundaries
• Professionalism
• Mental health and wellness
• Career development
• Management practices
• Transitioning into other careers

Advocating for exotic dancers doesn't mean pretending every club is well-managed.

It means being willing to acknowledge when systems aren't working.

It means asking whether dancers are being treated fairly.

It means encouraging responsible management.

It means creating environments where performers can understand their rights, protect their income, establish boundaries and make informed decisions about their futures.

That's a conversation worth having.

And Cabaret Nights is willing to have it.

🖤 BEHIND EVERY GREAT PRODUCTION IS A TEAM THAT BELIEVES IN THE VISION.

Cabaret Nights has never been a one-person journey.

From the music and culinary experience to security, promotional shoots, photography, our incredible Cabaret Ladiis, and the generous sponsors supporting our silent auction, every contribution helps bring this vision to life. 💜

As we prepare for November 14, we're taking a moment to recognize the people and businesses who have helped shape the Cabaret Nights experience.

This is more than an event. It's collaboration, creativity, and community coming together.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you for building with us. 🥂

One of the biggest problems with the conversation around exotic dancers?

People often stop seeing the woman once they hear the word "st****er."

She's suddenly reduced to a job.

Not a mother.
Not a student.
Not a business owner.
Not an artist.
Not someone's daughter.
Not an entrepreneur.
Not a woman with goals that extend far beyond the stage.

Just a stereotype.

I've lived on both sides of that conversation.

And that's one of the reasons Cabaret Nights exists.

I'm not interested in pretending the industry doesn't have problems.

It does.

I'm interested in creating space to talk about those problems without dehumanizing the people who work in it.

We can talk about exploitation AND respect.

We can talk about poor management AND accountability.

We can talk about safety AND personal responsibility.

We can talk about leaving the industry AND respecting the women who choose to stay.

Two things can be true at once.

That's the conversation I want Cabaret Nights to help create.
