The Radical has done its first lap around the sun!

What started as a simple idea to bring more life, connection, and community to downtown Brunswick has grown into a year of good drinks, great conversations, new friendships, and shared experiences.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of it. Here's to continuing to build a more vibrant downtown, together, one gathering at a time - together.

Brunswick, we’re partying at Railroad Days!

And this year, it’s extra special: The Radical is celebrating its one-year anniversary! We will be going from 2 to 10 PM on Saturday, 3 October, set up on Delaware Avenue and the Back Lot of the old hardware store (now Traveling Bros Ci**rs ), like our setup last year, but even better! We'll have activities for all ages - cocktails and ci**rs for adults, as well as chalk and other activities for kids (and interested adults)!

Stop by in the afternoon for a refreshing drink, good conversations, and a comfy seat away from the Railroad Days bustle. Starting at 3 PM, we will have soul-healing tunes from Tony Wilkins Tony Wilkins and Rick Dowlearn Rick Dowlearn bringing life back to the barn.

Come celebrate Brunswick, our neighbors, and one year of The Radical with us!

Railroad Days with The Radical!

The Radical celebrates its one-year anniversary at Railroad Days 2026!

We've done a full lap around the sun since our first event, which was so inspiring. We've made it through these last twelve months with the support of friends, family, and community who have made it all possible. So, we see no better way to celebrate than to have a Radical anniversary to remember!

Join us for The Radical at Railroad Days on Saturday, 3 October from 2 to 10 PM. We will be set up on Delaware Avenue and the back lot of Traveling Bros Ci**rs (302 W Potomac Street) for an afternoon and evening of live music, activities for all ages, good times with neighbors, and, of course, great cocktails!

🍸 Cocktails, live music, and the Farmers Market — tonight in downtown Brunswick!

Once again, downtown Brunswick comes alive tonight with Brunswick Live, featuring dozens of local vendors, delicious food options, live music, and an open-air event in the park.

Stop by and celebrate our town with friends and neighbors. Grab your favorite drink, settle in on the lawn at Square Corner Park, and enjoy a beautiful evening together from 4 to 8 PM.

Music, maraschinos, and meeting neighbors!

This Friday, the Radical is helping bring more life and community back to Square Corner Park. Some talented young local musicians are joining in, playing under the nearby gazebo as we help build out Brunswick's music scene. Brunswick Live energy continues to grow, fueled by the efforts of our farmers market, downtown businesses, and many attractions.

Come downtown from 4 to 8 on Friday, 25 September to listen, enjoy a drink and some good company, and support Brunswick’s rising stars!

Brunswick Live with The Radical returns to Square Corner Park!

Our first Brunswick Live cocktail party in the park was a wonderful success, bringing the community together on a Friday evening to enjoy craft cocktails, delicious food, and goods from local vendors at the Farmers Market in Brunswick’s Square Corner Park! .

So, we’re doing it again. Join us on Friday, 25 September 2026 for a relaxing fall evening from 4 to 8 PM with family, friends, and neighbors.

Explore the nearby galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, breweries, vendor stands, and more. Then settle in at the heart of downtown Brunswick with a tasty drink in hand and live music in the air.

Come enjoy the evening, support our local businesses, and celebrate the town we love and call home.

Brunswick Live in Corner Square Park!

Tonight from 2–8 PM, join us in the heart of downtown Brunswick for margaritas, Old Fashioneds, Negronis, w**e, and refreshing soft drinks from The Radical.

Treat yourself to a well-deserved cocktail after a long workweek and celebrate the end of summer with good drinks and great company.

Stop by on your way back from the Farmers Market, and bring along a meal from the food truck or one of the downtown cafés. There are picnic tables in the park, and we’ll also have comfortable seating available so you can settle in and enjoy the evening.

Square Corner Park came alive this spring when the Brunswick Farmers Market temporarily moved across the street—and it reminded a lot of us how good it feels to see this downtown space full of people again.

So we’re bringing The Radical to the park.

Join us Friday, August 28, from 2–8 PM during Brunswick Live for an afternoon and evening of craft cocktails, classic drinks, and community in the heart of downtown Brunswick.

The Radical’s mission is to help energize unused and underused spaces—creating places where people have a reason to gather, linger, and experience downtown differently. Square Corner Park is exactly the kind of place where that can happen.

August 28 will be the first of three end-of-season Radical gatherings in the park:

Friday, October 30

Come downtown, visit the businesses staying open late for Brunswick Live, bring some dinner from a nearby restaurant, grab a drink, and spend a Friday evening with us in Square Corner Park!
