It's true! We are closed. The owners grew tired of fighting for equality in this racist, bias, and a joke of a city we call Binghamton. As our neighbors all around get away with serving minors we got persecuted despite the fact that we made all efforts to maintain and uphold the laws. We cannot control these college kids who come to us with computer generated fake ids so good that the cops have to call in to find out that they are fake. All we wanted was to be treated equally! You have the Rat across the street who has had more penalties assessed to them than any bar in State St history or Uncle Tony's who had 12 violations for serving minors [2 under the age of 18] on the agenda for wednesdays full board hearing at nyssla. [liquor authority] Do you hear about this on the news? Of course not cause Tony's the Rat are part of the good ole boys on State St. with the mayor on their side kissing butt. Biggest difference between Scoreboard and these bars... The color of our clientele. Sorry but that's the sad truth of this all. Welcome to Binghamton where it appears there are a white set of laws and a multi cultural set of laws. Chief of police says that The Scoreboard is the biggest problem spot on State St.??? Where is the proof? Police have never been called to the location, no ones been beat nearly to death like other bars down there, the owners never yelled fire to clear their bar of minors to avoid tickets. [causing injury to the fleeing minors] Facts are we're guilty of serving a multi cultural clientele so we were the target. Thank you for those who supported us.
