Groom P at 6’7” beat me on height (doesn’t happen often) and he , together with his beyond beautiful Bride M hosted a super stylish celebration - a privilege to play a small part in.

This beautiful mural bears testament to the history of fishing in Carvoeiro ; it’s on the entrance to the wonderful Villa Vale a Pena - a new villa venue for me in 2026 but I’m already booked to go back there twice so far in 2027 - I can see why ; it’s utterly fabulous

Stylish and Stunning in equal measure @ Glorious Granvilla .
Dazzling Dress
Magnificent Musicians and Photographic Perfection were the order of the day.
In sweltering sun, promises and rings were exchanged with the show well and truly stolen by Prince C who at just two years old presented rings and gave hugs and kisses to the new Mr and Mrs McG .

Celebrant collaboration , communication and care is central to my personal philosophy; I admire , respect and treasure the working relationships I have with all my Celebrant colleagues and today I want to give a HUGE vote of thanks to ceremoniesbyalisia who stepped up to take a ceremony for me with just 24 hrs notice.
My couple S&A and I had worked so hard together over the past 18 months to create the ceremony of their dreams . However with 2 days to go I became ill with a particularly nasty bug that knocked me off my (overly large) feet . Having taken 100’s of ceremonies in my career this was my first I could not deliver . I was heartbroken.
But , Alisia didn’t hesitate when I asked for her help (even though she had to change her own plans ) so we met over video link , discussed and rehearsed the ceremony and she then delivered same to huge praise, and applause , that afternoon.
I’m beyond grateful and can’t thank her enough. The đŸ· is on me !
