We are delighted to announce the next edition of Hello My Friend!

On April 23rd, we will be hosting an absolutely legendary bar from Prague, Czech Republic – Hemingway Bar Prague. We are thrilled to host such a distinguished venue, which has inspired the international bar scene for years.

A place inspired by Ernest Hemingway, one of the most well-known bar lovers, who brought fame to many mixed drinks and innovated on old cocktail recipes. Hemingway Bar Prague carries his favorite liquors such as Absinthe and various kinds of rum, as well as champagne.

Behind our bar will be representatives of the Prague concept: Petra Danišová and Mikuláš Pitoňák.

Meet Carola Urru (.bartender) • a force behind the bar with 9 years in the industry & a style shaped across Europe.
London sharpened her speed and precision, turning her into a cocktail-making machine, while the Czech Republic refined her craft with elegance and finesse.
Along the way, she’s achieved some remarkable milestones:

• Opening Savage Bar on 3 February 2024
• Becoming the first foreign woman to win Czech Bartender of the Year (2022/2023) in the 40-year history of the Czech Bartenders Association
• Member of the Hubertus Circle
And as she loves to describe herself: ‘’I’m not rude, I’m just Italian’’🇮🇹🍸

The iconic creation of Dick Bradsell, reinterpreted by Donkey Shoe. Our Mexican Espresso Martini keeps the soul of the classic intact • bold coffee, silky texture, and late-night energy • but shifts the flavor landscape south.

Built on the bright agave backbone of El Jimador Blanco, the cocktail gains clarity and lift. Our house Donkey Shoe Mole Liqueur brings layers of cacao, subtle chili warmth, and deep spice, echoing the complexity of traditional Mexican mole.

Fresh orange oils illuminate the darker notes, while orgeat softens the structure with a gentle almond sweetness. At the core sits rich Mexican espresso • intense, aromatic, and unapologetically bold.

At Donkey Shoe, we’re getting ready for a celebration • because this weekend we raise our glasses to Women’s Day. In fact, the entire month of March at our bar is dedicated to honoring the women who helped shape cocktail culture.

This weekend’s tribute goes to Audrey Saunders, the New York bartending legend and one of the pillars of the modern cocktail renaissance. A protégé of Dale DeGroff and the visionary behind the legendary Pegu Club (2005–2020), Audrey is responsible for some of the drinks that define contemporary mixology.

Let’s all meet at Donkey Shoe this weekend and celebrate those who need to be celebrated every day of the year - the women!💅🏽

DNA: Negroni
One of the leaders of the international cocktail scene. In our interpretation, the structure remains beautifully intact, but the soul travels south. Built on the crisp agave spine of Don Julio Blanco, the cocktail gains vibrancy and a lifted citrus edge. Italian bitter keeps the classic tension alive, while Donkey Tijuana vermouth introduces subtle herbal sweetness with a sun-soaked character.

Our habanero essence weaves in gentle heat and green, shrub-like notes • a delicate interplay of vegetal sharpness and unexpected hints of raspberry brightness.
