The story behind this Industrial office styling is “The Rock” in Psalm 18:2. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. The reception’s backdrop is a big rock covered with ice, divided by streams of orange tones and copper, which represents their corporate color and the metal that is commonly used in their projects.
The design intention is to create an office that has a welcoming environment, a space that values its people’s mental and spiritual health.
We created a coffee station as a focal point in one of the meeting rooms. It has floating shelves above the station to display coffee mugs, tiered plates and glassware.
We dropped an industrial pendant light above the meeting table from the same style in the reception area for continuity.
The focal point of the owner’s office is a commissioned artwork from El Taganas. It’s a relief art of her DREAM. In her dream, there was a house with people inside. When she looked up, there was a rocky place, a Korean Temple and a guard. Then came a strong storm that hit the house, but it did not damage it because it was built on a sturdy tree. This has a beautiful message that we are not exempted from storms of life; we can weather those raging winds as long as our strong foundation is in the Lord.
