Nigerian restaurants/bars putting dry ice into drinks are gonna f**k around and accidentally kill somebody.

The worst part is, chances are no one will know what exactly killed them. It’ll just be one of those “he slumped and died” stories.

The problem isn’t using dry ice in cocktails. The problem is not informing your customers that the ice needs to sublimate completely (turns back to gas) before drinking.

A small chunk of dry ice can cause burns similar to frostbite in your digestive tract.

Dry ice is solid CO2. It has a Temperature of below -110c. It’s great for instantly freezing/cooling substances. It’s so cold that putting it uncovered in your freezer can freeze and destroy your freezer.

Prolonged contact with skin sef will cause frostbite.
