AFGHANISTAN’S NEW LAW: THE TOTAL SILENCING OF WOMEN!

My people, make we gather round and look at what is happening in the world today.

If anyone ever tells you that extreme religious legalism is "just about modesty," show them the latest decree coming out of Afghanistan.

In August 2024, the Taliban finalized a 114-page "Virtue and Vice" law that took micro-management to a level the modern world has never seen before.
Under Article 13 of this new law, a woman's voice is officially declared as awrah (an intimate/private body part that must be concealed)!
What Does This Mean in Everyday Reality?
Let’s look at what this law actually enforces on over 14 million women and girls:

* Complete Public Silence: Women are legally forbidden from speaking, singing, reading aloud, or reciting anything outside their homes if another person outside their immediate blood family might hear them.

* Total Facial & Body Erasure: A woman must cover her entire body, including her face and eyes, with thick, non-reflective fabric at all times in public so as not to cause "temptation."

* No Direct Eye Contact: Women are banned from looking directly at any male who is not her husband or blood relative (Mahram).

* Frosted Windows: Private homes must have frosted or covered windows so that no female inside can even be seen from the street outside.

When a religion or government reaches the point where it fears a woman's voice so much that it makes her speaking a crime, it exposes a massive internal failure:
👉 Forced Compliance vs. Internal Morality: True holiness is not built by locking women in rooms, freezing their voices, and enforcing rules with whips on the street. When you have to enforce "purity" through total repression, you prove that your system cannot transform the human heart—it can only control the human body.
👉 Micro-Management of the External: Why place the entire burden of men's self-control on the total erasure of women? If a man cannot hear a woman speak without losing his moral compass, the problem lies inside the man's heart, not in the woman's voice!

The Christian Contrast: The God Who Listens & Gives Voice
Look at the glorious, liberating contrast when we turn to how Jesus Christ treated women in the Gospels!

Jesus Elevated Women: In a 1st-century culture that often sidelined women, Jesus publicly spoke with them, taught them, and honored their faith (e.g., the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4).

First Witnesses of the Resurrection: When Jesus rose from the dead, He did not hide His glory from women or order them to be silent. He specifically appointed women to be the very first preachers of the Resurrection to His apostles! (Matthew 28:9-10).
"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
— Galatians 3:28
God created women with dignity, intellect, and a voice meant to speak truth, sing praises, and glorify their Creator—not to be buried under blankets of silence!

Let’s stand up for true freedom, human dignity, and the God who values every soul equally!

What are your thoughts on this extreme policy? Let’s talk in the comments below! 👇🏾

So this guy in AkwaIbom went to a club last night.

At the club, he saw so many girls that he couldn’t resist.

So he promised himself he will go home with one of the girls.

For an all night enjoyment and pleasure.

He approached one of the ladies, they negotiated price.

He told her they’ll sleep throughout the night altogether.

She agreed.
And they went home.

Very possible, they might have done the first round, second round, and third round.

Or maybe even more rounds.

And got tired.

Unfortunately around 5:30am in the morning, there was a fire outbreak in the house

The fire consumed a lot of properties in the house

So sad, the fire burnt the girl to death, she couldn’t escape.

But the guy, the owner of the room escaped. He ran away for his life.

So sad.
What a sad ending.

This happened in Uyo, Akwaibom state.

If you are from Akwa Ibom State and is staying in Uyo. Your friend went for clubbing. She is yet to return back. Please go to No 28 Ikpa Road to check if you can identify the burnt body there. 🥺

The Butterfly Effect
To begin with, I witnessed Maradona, Ronaldo El Fenomeno, Ronaldinho, and the giants of the 1980s, 90s, and the turn of the millennium in the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Italy, and Argentina.
Messi is undeniably the greatest player in history in terms of skill, longevity, determination, passion, creating new motives, and the hunger to achieve continuous, repeated success. High skill alone or passion for a short period is not enough to become a legend like Messi.
However, what is happening now in the World Cup to exploit this legend financially, promotional-wise, and media-wise is pathetic and sad.
The story did not start with the Egypt match, and the global feeling that Argentina is being favored is not dependent on a single moment in that game. Instead, let us review the consecutive events since day one of the tournament for Argentina to understand the context as a whole and the "butterfly effect" from which Argentina fully benefited.
1. The first event, which is undeniable and indefensible, is the moment Messi's red card was ignored during the Algeria match. In the 30th minute, with the score at 0-0, Messi was not sent off after a challenge on Aissa Mendi's leg, and VAR did not review the incident. Had the red card happened, Argentina would have played with 10 men against Algeria for over an hour without Messi, and they would have also played without Messi against Austria!
2. Messi’s absence from the remainder of the Algeria match and the entire Austria match due to suspension would have deprived him of scoring 5 whole goals, which he scored after the challenge that warranted a red card. Messi would have returned against Jordan with zero goals, while his rivals Mbappe, Haaland, and Vinicius Jr. had 3–4 goals. However, Messi's goalscoring advantage—by scoring 5 unearned goals had the red card been applied—gave him a historic goalscoring edge across World Cup history as a whole. As of this moment, he is the top scorer of this edition.
