📢 CEFA AWARDS 2026 – NOMINATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Calabar Entertainment Fest & Awards (CEFA) is committed to recognizing excellence, creativity, and impact within the entertainment and creative industry. To ensure a fair and credible process, the following eligibility criteria shall apply to all nominations.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

For an annual ceremony on November 1, 2026, eligible works and projects should ideally be released or active between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026.

✅ Nominees must be indigenes, residents, or practitioners actively contributing to the entertainment and creative industry in Cross River State.

✅ Nominees must have been active within the eligibility period and must have made notable contributions in their respective categories.

✅ Individuals, groups, organizations, and brands may be nominated by themselves or by members of the public.

✅ All nominations must be supported by verifiable evidence where required.

✅ The CEFA Academy reserves the right to verify all submitted information and determine final eligibility.

✅ Any nomination containing false or misleading information may be disqualified.
