We are so grateful to our dear friend Peter PT Jacobson for bringing the best of himself to The Blind Swine last month.

It was an honour to have such a distinguished and accomplished musician perform in our space and his music was thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests.

Here are some video clips from the evening to give you just a taste of how mangical the music was. We will share some photos of the atmosphere and fare in another post.

We are buzzing with excitement to welcome Peter Jacobson to The Blind Swine 🎶

Peter is an American cellist, producer, songwriter-singer, chamber musician, teacher, and father.

In 2013 he won a Grammy for Best Latin Rock Alternative or Urban Album as a member of the group Quetzal. After more than a decade performing as the cellist for Pasadena's Southwest Chamber Music, he began to focus on original music.

Companies like Nike and Target have licensed his compositions. Peter has composed / recorded for artists including Logic, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Juicy J, and frequently plays in the San Diego Symphony. He has been a soloist with Kamasi Washington and the West Coast Get Down, and has toured the world with Rhye.

His solo cello can be heard in film and television, including The Walking Dead, Motherland, The Twighlight Zone, Outlander, and many others.

We are keen to talk with Peter about the many hats he wears as an artist and what role musical flexibility plays in his career.

The Blind Swine is very proud to present its 3nd intimate craft cocktail music event with featured artist Peter Jacobson.

Tickets are $18 and include 1 craft cocktail, beer or wine as well as unique hors d'oeuvres made with delicious locally produced ingredients.

The evening will feature premium Cambodian spirits, live original music, an interview, as well as a visit with the artist.

The event location is a speakeasy near the Royal Gardens in Siem Reap.

The documentary follows the adventures of the traveling musician 'Miserable Man' along the streets of India. From the Rajasthan desert to the big city of Kolkata, he will cross paths with many characters: Gipsy musicians, spiritual seekers and street kids. Venturing through the subcontinent, physically and metaphysically. The film follows the steps through which this street performer decided to embrace a new lifestyle, dedicated to music, travel and self discovery. Seeking how to blend together modernity and traditions, East and West, ethics and aesthetics, freedom and self management.

Not only was his performance entertaining and inspiring but his storytelling about life as a traveling musician was engaging.

Thank you to Sophors Shop for their amazing mozzarella, feta, and Burrata cheeses; and smoked ham and chicken. A small family business right here in Siem Reap with the biggest hearts I've found in town.

Thank you to Artisan Sausage Siem Reap for your authentic Polish sausages and spicy chorizo. They were a huge hit!
