She’s gonna be a bride! 🤍✨

Jhalak wanted hair that looked glossy, healthy and naturally radiant with a visible glow, but without compromising the health of her hair.

She had a previously done brown through the ends, and when there’s existing colour in the hair, I prefer to work with what’s already there rather than completely changing the canvas.

So we added caramel babylights and a chocolate mocha global to bring warmth, dimension and that soft, healthy glow she was looking for.
I’ve always felt that deeper browns paired with warm highlights complement Indian skin beautifully especially for bridal looks. ✨

As a bride, there can be so much pressure to find the perfect colour and the perfect style before your big day.

My advice is always the same: accentuate and enhance your natural look than try to become someone else just for your wedding.

Choose a colour and style that enhances what’s already beautiful about you, rather than changing your entire look.
Because when you look back at your wedding photos years from now, you should still feel like you just your most radiant version.

Messy modern mullet with a burst fade. ✂️

Nikhil is blessed with dense, thick hair but as with most good things, there’s a catch. 😉

That much density can make a haircut feel heavy and difficult to manage once it starts growing out.
His previous haircut had grown into a very boxy, heavy shape, making it difficult to style and manage.

✨I went with a burst fade + messy, heavily textured mullet.

✨I kept his length rather than taking it shorter and added shorter pieces throughout to create texture and movement. ✨Taking off more length would have actually made the hair appear even fuller and increase the volume.

✨And because his hair tends to get sticky and flat through the day, I kept the styling matte and lightweight:
✨ Super Dust — for volume at the top
✨ OSiS Mess Up Matte Paste — applied to dry hair for texture and hold

The result? A haircut that feels lighter, has more movement and is much easier to style.

Nikhil was very happy with the result.
But only up to 6 weeks. 😉

For Prachi, we refined three things… shape, thickness and tone, to create a look that felt softer, more lifted and completely her.

✨SHAPE
Prachi has naturally thick, dense hair, which can create weight at the ends of a bob and make the silhouette feel slightly triangular or bell-shaped.

Graduation allowed me to redistribute that weight from the neck towards the jaw, creating a more lifted and balanced shape.

✨THICKNESS
Once the shape was established, I personalised the ends using multiple thinning techniques. This softened the perimeter and allowed the hair to sit and grow out more naturally.

✨COLOR
Prachi wanted to explore a berry-red tone without committing to a full colour transformation.

Since her hair was already lightened, there was no need to lighten it again. We kept her natural root colour intact and simply toned the lengths with a rich berry red for a fresh, healthy-looking finish.

No unnecessary lightening. No drastic colour change.
Just a root touch-up and a thoughtful tone and the result was an entirely new look.

Even short hair can feel heavy if it’s the wrong shape and disproportionate to your face and neck.
Her previous bob had grown out and had started to look very triangular! 🔺

I wanted the weight around her nape gone.
Created a graduated bob that sits lighter, cleaner and more structured…finished with subtle hints of red for that extra edge.

A little shape + a little colour = a whole new energy.
