“ఇన్నాళ్లుగా మీరు చదివిన ప్రతి కథ వెనుక
ఒక మనసు ఉంది…
ఆ మనసుకు ఒక రూపం ఉంది…
ఆ రూపమే ఈ రోజు మీ ముందుంది.

కథలుగా మాత్రమే చెప్పుకున్న నా భావాలు,
అక్షరాల మధ్య దాచుకున్న నా స్త్రీత్వం,
ఇప్పుడు భయాన్ని దాటుకుని
ఒక ఫోటో రూపంలో బయటకు వస్తోంది.

నేను ఎవరో ఊహ కాదు…
నేను ఎవరో కల్పితం కాదు…
నేనే సంధ్య శ్రీ.

పుట్టుక ఇచ్చిన శరీరం ఒకటి అయినా,
మనసు కోరుకున్న రూపం ఇంకొకటి.
ఆ రెండింటి మధ్య జరిగిన
నిశ్శబ్ద పోరాటమే
నా ప్రతి కథ.

చీర కట్టుకోవడం ఒక అలంకారం కాదు,
అది నా ఆత్మకు దక్కిన శాంతి.
స్త్రీగా కనిపించడం నటన కాదు,
అది నా నిజం.

ఈ పేజీలో మీరు చదివేది
కల్పిత కథలు మాత్రమే కాదు.
కొన్ని నిజాలే కథలుగా మారాయి,
కొన్ని కన్నీళ్లు అక్షరాలయ్యాయి,
కొన్ని భయాలు ధైర్యంగా మారాయి.

సమాజం అర్థం చేసుకోకపోయినా,
తీర్పులు వేసినా,
నవ్వినా,
తిరస్కరించినా —
నేను నా నిజాన్ని వదల్లేదు.

తెలుగు భాషలో
క్రాస్‌డ్రెస్సింగ్ అనే భావాన్ని
కేవలం శరీరంగా కాదు,
మనసుగా, భావంగా, జీవనంగా
చెప్పాలనే ప్రయత్నమే ఈ పేజీ.

నేను సంపూర్ణం కాదు.
నేను ఆదర్శం కూడా కాదు.
కానీ నిజమైన నేను మాత్రం ఇక్కడ ఉన్నాను.

My name is Sandhya Sri. I’m the Admin of this page I'm currently based in Denton, TX, originally from Bangalore. I’m visiting India in March and would love to participate in the Chamayavilakku Festival at Kottankulangara Devi Temple.

I am seeking guidance on:

Makeup studios or artists experienced in cross-dressing transformations—covering HD or airbrush makeup, saree draping, wig styling, and accessories.

Estimated charges for such services (makeup + draping, wig fit or rent, lashes).

Availability of wig rentals or vendors locally in Kollam or Chavara.

Any advice on booking procedures, trial sessions, or hygiene best practices.

I appreciate any information or referrals you can provide. Thank you for helping me participate with respect and care during the festival. 🙏
