Formed in 1968, St Mary's Musical Society, Navan has produced a wide range of musicals, pantomimes and concerts. We have a long association with Amateur Irish Musical Societies (AIMS), which we joined back in 1969, becoming one of the first provisional musical societies to do so. Over the years we have had the honour of winning several awards for our musical productions at the AIMS Awards Ceremony
held in the INEC Killarney. Our Summer Camp, now in it's 6th year, runs for 2 weeks in July for children aged 6 - 12 years old. Each year our Summer Camp ends with a showcase in the Community Centre
All Teens & the kids can be seen in our Summer Cabaret show and/or annual Panto! Year after year we welcome new adult members who can sing, dance or act. From time to time we also invite young people under the age of 18 to join us in our productions. All members are encouraged to be actively involved in whatever way suits. Members have been Directors, Producers, Writers and Choreographers; as well as design sets, run backstage operations, provide Front of House support & oversee costumes.
