From an old beer keg to a bespoke Little Yellow Camper parasol stand… 💛☀️
When I came up with the idea of turning an old keg into a parasol stand, I knew exactly who to call.
A huge thank you to Scott Francis at Francis welding & metal fabrications LTD , Top Barn Industrial Estate, Worcester, for bringing the idea to life.
One of the things I value most about working with Scott is that he doesn’t just make things – he’s incredibly helpful, creative and always willing to bounce ideas around to find a solution. You can arrive with a rough concept and leave with something even better than you originally imagined.
In this case, Scott not only fabricated the stands but also arranged the powder coating and colour matching to ensure they fitted perfectly with the Little Yellow Camper brand. From concept to collection, the whole process was straightforward and hassle-free.
The finished result fits perfectly with the Little Yellow Camper fleet and made its debut at BidFest this weekend.
And the story doesn’t end there… The next phase is to have the kegs professionally signwritten with spring flowers to complement our vintage yellow theme.
Whose idea was that? Scott’s, of course! 😄
