Stevie’s joined in this venture with Jade Morris on viola, and Jim Peters on piano, low D whistle and melodica.

🪬A new play by the M.A.D. Society - the preposterous people who brought you Peter Panto and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It’s a Panto - or more accurately, a Panto’s late-father’s cousin’s wife’s brother’s ex girlfriend. There will be music. There will be intrigue. There will be dubious characters (and some kindly ones) flaunting many disguises. There will be death, singing orphans, a mysterious fire and also a circus. Hilarity will ensue.

If you are hoping to see a play about a plucky young chocolate enthusiast or a swashbuckling pirate, you’d be better off buying tickets to a different show. I’m sorry to say there is nothing to be found here but mystery, woe, and a gormless chap called Mr. Poe. This is not a series of heartwarming events - It is a Series of Unfortunate Events. My name is Lemony Snicket and it’s my very solemn duty to bring to light the sorry histories of the Baudelaire Children 🔮

Two sleeps to go until our 4th annual Artisan Christmas Market! Join us this coming Sunday, Dec 7 from 11am-3pm for one-of-a-kind bespoke handmade gifts from local artists and craftspeople. The Garrison Gallery will have all your favourite winter warmers and will be cooking up some festive fare! Don’t forget is also open if you fancy a cozy sit down before or after your shopping!
Meet some more of our makers you can expect to see up the hill this year:
- Leon, Kev & Chris are hot sauce enthusiasts! They grow their own chilis right here on the peninsula, creating their own unique hot sauces- sure to bring the heat this Christmas!
- Emma is the queen of quirk with her colourful altars and decor made from upcycled materials. Try not to smile.
- Lana hand creates gorgeous bespoke children’s clothing right here on Rame. Each piece is lovingly made from locally and ethically sourced materials.
- Joanie is well known locally for her delicious jams & chutneys made from the organic fruit & veg grown in her lovingly tended allotment in Cawsand
- Alice knows how to bring the party and keep it going! She’s got disco decs for any occasion that will turn any event into an EVENT.
- Ian and the team have a local vineyard right here on the peninsula. A small independent vineyard with big heart and scrummy wine!
- Halina crafts gorgeous hand painted ceramics that will be sure to become a centerpiece in your home!mcgrellis - Lowenna is known locally as the shawl lady. With a stunning collection of luxurious Tibetan shawls and eclectic jewelry and accessories, it’s no wonder. Feeling a little chilly this winter? She’s got you covered!
- Claire creates handmade concrete homewares & planters, made in Cornwall and inspired by the land and seascapes around us.

So many treasures to discover!

The wonderful canteen will be open as usual from 9:30-4pm on Sunday during the Christmas market. Give them a ring to make a reservation if you want to sit in a warm cozy atmosphere and eat delicious food while you admire all your market treasures!

Meet some of our makers you can expect to see up the hill this year:
- Natalie joins us with cheeky Cornish designs and her deliciously written and illustrated book about an adventurous pasty on our very own peninsula!
- Carrie & Lottie’s jewelry - inspired by our beautiful coastal villages- is delicate, simple, & elegant, and made with sea glass from our local beaches.
- Kat’s jewelry is infused with the magic and folklore of Cornwall and feels like wearing a talisman from the ancestors and guardians of nature.
- Amanda’s colourful and eclectic baubles are often made with upcycled materials and add a touch of whimsy to your holiday! Also known as the Walnut Mouse lady (🤭)!
- Lucy is peninsula royalty with her baking sorcery! She’ll have some exclusive treats at this years market, and it’s worth noting that she sells out EARLY every year!
- Kezia’s bright and cheerful ceramics are made with pressed flowers, gorgeous glazes, and a tonne of charm.
- Janine’s creativity knows no bounds. Her hand made pots are unconventional conversations pieces, satisfyingly designed and fired using ancient techniques.handsundays - Alice and the team are making second hand their first choice and inspiring you to do the same! They’ll be joining our market with previously loved clothing items to jazz up your winter wardrobe!
