It's a very rare occasion when we do things outside but we think this one deserves it without doubt! 👌

When we started putting parties on in this little warehouse in Sheffield, booking artists like Photek felt a long way off.

One of the originals. A producer whose records have been played, studied and collected for decades. While everyone else followed trends, Photek built his own sound and left a mark on jungle and drum & bass that still runs through the music today.

For a venue like Dryad, built by friends, artists, tenants and ravers, having him play our little warehouse on the hill is something we're proud of. ❤️

No big speech needed. Just respect where it's due. 🔊

For the Sheffield edition of the Blue Note Sessions, Metalheadz joins forces with Sinai Sound System to present a day focused on sound, community and the deeper roots of Drum & Bass culture.

Alongside a lineup of artists who helped shape the genre, local support comes from Charla Green and Lunar, representing the next chapter of Sheffield's underground community.

Expect six hours of music presented through one of the UK's most respected independent sound systems inside the intimate warehouse surroundings of Dryad Works.
