Nick Corelli
Nick began his DJing journey at the legendary Passion night at The Emporium in Coalville in 1996 playing in the Red Room. In 1998 he met Mark Brown and together they formed M.Y.N.C. Project. Renowned for their four-deck/two-mixer shows combined with a multitude of effects units, M.Y.N.C. Project brought innovation and energy to the dancefloor, and embarked on a highly successul career including many international bookings and a string of record releases The duo launched the M.Y.N.C. Sessions at Leicester University in 2004 with Erick Morillo and Deep Dish, and dates at many of the world's leading parties and venues soon followed including The Cross, Godskitchen, Sankeys, Shindig, We Love... Space and Pure Pacha in ibiza, Zouk in Singapore and Kuala Lumpar, Attica in Shanghai and two tours of Australia and Asia. There was also a residency at the Ministry of Sound in London alongside Pete Tong at his Pure night where the guys undoubtedly made the Bar their own. M.Y.N.C. Project have notched up six highly respected singles and a string of remixes for Mark Knight, Harry 'Choo Choo' Romero, Bush II Bush and Inner City among others. The singles include the worldwide club hit 'Something On Your Mind' with vocals by Abigail Bailey, and 'Everybody Freakin'', a collaboration with the hotly tipped Dirty South, while the duo have released five compilations including a 'Sessions' double CD for the Ministry of Sound most recently. Next on the agenda for Nick is a selection of solo productions, while he is currently in the studio collaborating with James Talk, Mutiny and Cassette Jam. October 2006 saw Nick open the Rapture club with his sister in their hometown of Loughborough. Rapture has been transformed into a vibrant, exciting venue featuring international names as well as nurturing new DJ talent. Nick is fully involved in the running of the club and has brought the likes of Yousef, Paul Woolford, Sandy Rivera, Sh*t Disco, Tim Sheridan and D.Ramirez up to play. He has been very diligent in the brands he has chosen to showcase at Rapture, while one Saturday a month is reserved for his own 'Rapture presents...' night which gives Nick the opportunity to invite the DJs he wants to play alongside and progress the night through his own musical tastes and visions. It's a bold move that has been well received by press and clubbers alike. Nick also holds residencies with DQ in Sheffield and Shivoo in Leicester, and these three nights have provided him with the perfect platform to fuse a myriad of underground sounds and showcase the explosion of cutting edge house music currently being produced. Future dates include playing for Glasshouse in Leeds and a trip to Lithuania taking in the famous Exit club and the recently opened Pacha Vilnius. Invite Nick to play at your night and you're in for a treat but watch your speakers! Steve Kelley
