Faux marble painted to emulate the floor making this very high, but very small powder room almost drenched in marble. We painted the panels and the panel mouldings separately but have also recently done other marbling projects ignoring panels and panel mouldings, to give a more contemporary accent on an 18th C room. We can replicate any type of stone or marble, we can paint on any substrate that can be properly prepared and painted with an eggshell paint finish.

Palladium, platinum, white gold? It’s caplain! A precious metal leafy that does not tarnish. White gold is the most likely to tarnish after silver. Palladium, platinum or caplain are the best choice for white metal gilding. This ceiling shows during the process of us gilding, and after the room was dressed. Stunning! 🤍🩶✨

This amazing basement ceiling in London Mayfair with rich ombré effect from deep earthy reds fading in to opulent golds. The brief was “celadon” this was a magical paint effect that was built up in stippled layers that brought an elegant and sophisticated palette to the room, and the double aspect of the windows front and back allowed the colour to shift depending on the light, sometimes it had duck egg hues, sometimes grey, sometimes eau de nil,
sometimes all of them! By layering the glazes it gives a quality of depth and tone, movement and a sense of vibrancy and energy that you just can’t achieve with a flat paint colour. 🧑🏻‍🎨🖌️🎨🩵🩶💚

Aging new woodwork can make the piece look more timeless. It can enhance the carvings and mouldings and make it look comfortable, like@it’s always been there and it’s at home. Here we have made a glaze with muted antiquing tones to bring out the contours, giving it a lived in look.

The Bemelmans inspired mural, yep it’s THE one on the front cover of Beata’s book! We painted it for G&A (Beata’s girls) and it’s still loved today by us and them! Who doesn’t love a cigar smoking bunny or a cocktail drinking, leopard print wearing party animal?! Solutions with paint! We often get asked to paint in PIRs, air con grilles, sockets, access panels, mouldings and radiators to match their background. We match the colours perfectly, recreate the pattern and in some cases we have to allow for light and shade, such as on the grilles,
So the colours have to be adjusted so that the design still reads properly to really trick the eye.

A perfect pair of little birds, part of two large pieces of silk that will get upholstered for a project overseas. The silk was meticulously painted on to the delicate surface, with every detail, so that the master embroiderers can follow the brushstrokes stitch by stitch. Here you can see the fabric with the sample, already embroidered. This level of attention to detail is the highest standard possible.
