Gluten free Banana bread with dark choc chips, hazelnuts, pecans, seed mix on top for some added fibre. I used a Nigella recipe for a base and added my own extras!

Lots of thank you gifts going out the next few days. I haven’t baked for a while so is nice to be back creating! I’m not taking any new orders but will let you know any plans. These brownies were Biscoff and Salted Caramel flavour and keep better in the heat than cupcakes!

Gluten free banana bread - with the secret ingredient of blended cooked quinoa (bear with me 🤣). It actually gives a lovely earthy taste and structure without having the horrible sandy feeling in your mouth that GF flour gives. Recipe from It’s also low in sugar so great one for kids

I’ve not made a big cake for a while and was more than happy to do this one. They are a great charity and always looking for more bakers if anyone is keen to volunteer!

Our fabulous volunteer Anna from Comfort Bakes by Anna has made this gorgeous cake for a young lady who’s family were referred to us by a local school 🎂🥰🦄 (name obscured for confidentiality)

Hi Everyone
I’ve decided to take a proper break from cakes and not take on any new orders. Life has just got too busy and I need to step back and evaluate what direction I‘m going in! My heart goes out to this beautiful family. Words cannot describe I’m so deeply saddened for all of you!

If you would like to support a good cause please check out a Special Christmas show at The Barn Theatre. This is inspired by the cancer battle of a courageous Oxted 18-year-old.

On the 16th December 2023, the talk of the town will be about a very special show at the Barn Theatre – “Celebration of Christmas”.

Local talented performers will take to the stage to entertain a festive audience with a collective goal: to raise as much money as they possibly can for the two selected Childhood Cancer charities and The Barn Theatre (also a registered Charity).

The show is inspired by 18-year-old Abi from Oxted, whose bravery and courage throughout treatment for a rare cancer has been indefatigable and, to those close to her, simply awe-inspiring.

This Christmas, The Barn Theatre’s wish is for the community of Oxted to come together to celebrate this extraordinary young lady’s life, whilst raising money for The Royal Marsden (centre of excellence for research and development) and Young Lives vs Cancer who provide support for patients and their families.

Volunteers Needed!

Do you love baking? We are a group of volunteers in Tandridge, who lovingly make and deliver birthday cakes, for local children, who's families struggle to provide one themselves. Local charities refer the families to us, and we do the rest!

We are of mixed ability, from beginners to professionals - so it doesn't matter if it's not a masterpiece - these children are just grateful for a home made cake, just for them. We can even help out with costs towards ingredients and decorations.
