We’re a small collective of DJ’s specialising in playing only the finest raw and filthy R’n’B, Soul, Rockabilly and Garage. The sound of our nights is defined by digging deeper into these genres, focusing on collecting only the most danceable tunes on original 45’s. On a typical night our sound ranges smoothly through exotica-tinged doo-wop, heavy surf instrumentals, fuzz-drenched garage stompers

and skronking saxophone-led jukebox rhythm n’ blues. Our unique sound has supported the following headline DJ’s and live acts and events…

In addition to this we have two regular residencies – a quarterly club night at Bedford’s Crypt (running for over 4 years) with attendance regularly exceeding 250 across the night, and a monthly slot at the Rumsey Well’s Rum Bar (running for over 6 years) – both in our home city of Norwich.

Big Biskit - Won’t You Come Downstairs Sally (1970?) Well this is an absolute treat! B-side psych soul killer. Starts off nicely enough and then cranks up the fuzz, reverb, and starts messing around between the channels. I can find nothing on either the label or Big Biskit himself, but Sammy Turner is on production so that’s something. A clip on my phone won’t do this one justice, get on YouTube and give this one a listen. The kind of 45 I like. @ Gonzo's Tea Room
