At Ceroc Newbury we’re lucky enough to be able to open up both sides of the venue to get a stiff breeze into the dance space and then use multiple fans to keep the air flowing.

This combined with the ultra high ceilings means we can create a comfortable dance space whatever the weather – well, as comfortable as it can be given your involved in an aerobic activity!

7.30pm: doors open
8pm – 8.45pm: Beginners class
8.45pm – 9pm: Freestyle
9pm – 9.30pm: Choice of the beginners review class in the second room OR, the amazing Intermediate class in the main hall
9.30pm – 10.45pm: Freestyle

If you've never ventured out to Newbury for a TWISTED event before your in for a treat! Great sound and lighting, social seating area and bar and plenty of free onsite parking.

8pm - 11pm: Main room Mid to Uptempo music
11pm: complimentary tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits
11pm - 1am: TWIST to Utopia/Silc Chill out music.

Our Twisted nights give the best of both worlds; Uptempo freestyle from 8pm until 11pm, then switching musical genres. 11pm complimentary tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits are served in the bar as we gently slide into our much loved blend of SILCy smooth UTOPIA music until 1am.

Happy New Year everyone!

Just a reminder that we start back with regular classes at Kingsclere tomorrow, Thurs 8th Jan.

Hope you had a great Xmas and New Year and are looking forward to getting back to your dancing! Maybe it's a good time to drag some friends or family along too? Would be great to build our dance community more in 2026.

XMAS Freestyle- TONIGHT!
8pm - 12 midnight, The Fieldgate Centre, Kingsclere, Newbury.

Over 100 dancers booked already so it looks set to be a great night and fabulous start to your Xmas!

Doors open at 8pm so arrive early, grab a table, get yourself a drink from the bar (please don't bring your own drinks) and join in with our fun Dance With A Stranger Competition that runs from 8.30pm - 9pm.

It's a UTOPIA Friday and we're looking forward to a great night as usual. :)

However, as much as we would love to have more dancers attending I'm afraid we have to limit ticket sales due to the venue's conditions of hire.

This means that you cannot turn up on the door hoping for a ticket as we cannot allow door entries tonight.

The venue's licensing states that we cannot exceed specified capacities in the building without security. And now, unfortunately, because everyone has booked so late we have missed our window (required by Tuesday) to book security. We are therefore at max capacity to stay within their licensing.

How can you help? In short, if more people booked earlier we would have a better idea of what the attendance would be and can organise the security (the cost is equivalent to 17 tickets) that would allow us to book dancers later in the week.

Needless to say, earlier booking also helps to manage our Gender Balance too.

This is becoming a regular problem lately, and the issue is that it not only affects us as organisers but you, our dancers too.

We already have a two tier pricing system that should help to encourage early bookers, but what else can we do?

Any thoughts or ideas gratefully received.
