𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘🪐🪐

The first members of the Corps had made Planetfall, their orbital pods penetrated the planet’s thin atmosphere with a sonic boom as they made their rapid descent.

Closer to the surface the pods engaged their reverse thrusters, slowing each pod enough for a safe landing as they impacted the surface. Opening hatches deployed with a low hiss and Corps’ boots were on the surface of a planet once more!

Dotted around the outskirts of the abandoned city the Corps moved in small squads to secure a safe dropzone for the ship in orbit.

“Let’s do this by the numbers, watch each others backs! Flame units cover those doorways!”

Colonel Jones was taking no chances. This planet was their chance at a new rebirth for their community.

The black pyramids of the city were huge, tessellated structures dotted about alongside what appeared to be temples, plazas and adobes. Giving the city a geometric maze feel.

This was gonna be one hell of a dropzone to secure. Anything could be in those structures…

“Colonel Jones here, send in the second wave. The new guy, the young one who aced special ops training. Send him down with a squad!”
