香港舞蹈家梅卓燕第一次創作以貓為主題的舞蹈作品，以文字、光影、聲音，揉合如水的身段和身體的印記，書寫多年來與流浪貓同行的經歷，找尋貓、「家」與人生哲學之間的微妙共鳴。《日記 VII》（2021 年大館舞蹈季）在 「香港舞蹈年獎 2022 」分別獲得傑出編舞以及傑出小型場地舞蹈製作。

Diary VII • The Story Of......
// I was thinking that was what made you wander //
Our iconic dancer and choreographer, Mui Cheuk Yin’s first dance production centered around cats. The work combines text, light and shadow, sound, fluid movements, and the imprints of the body to depict Mui's experiences alongside stray cats throughout the years. It seeks to explore the subtle parallels between feline steps, fluidity of home and her own philosophy of life. "Diary VII ‧ the story of …." (premiere at the Spotlight: A Season of Performing Arts 2021 presented by Tai Kwun) was awarded Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Small Venue Production at the 23rd Hong Kong Dance Awards 2022.

婚嫁喜事的風光背後埋藏了幾多暗潮洶湧？親友滿溢祝福的表面又淹沒了多少躑躅不安？

著名 #香港女編舞 #梅卓燕，與本地絕無僅有的年輕 #男大妗 #陳建文 及 #金馬獎填詞人 #岑偉宗 攜手，將舞蹈、文字、音樂等元素糅合當代及傳統的風格，把港粵傳統婚嫁習俗，轉化成豐富多元、極具張力的舞蹈作品。

𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗱 is a collaboration between celebrated local choreographer , and wedding chaperone , a young male practitioner of a profession traditionally dominated by older women. Featuring whimsical rhymes by lyricist adapted from ritual wording, and taking inspiration from traditional Cantonese opera tales, this work combines dance, music and text in a profoundly thought-provoking performance, exploring the meaning of honesty, promise and contractual commitment.
