Jenny Trapp has been cast as Gertie in THE LITTLEST YAK the Musical. The production will tour England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales opening this weekend and shows are booking into 2027.

Info:
A rollicking, heart-warming tale for everyone!

This musical adaptation of the award-winning children’s book will delight audiences young and old with beautiful puppets, catchy tunes and an uplifting tale of self-acceptance for all the family.

Gertie is great at being THE LITTLEST YAK, with the CURLIEST, WHIRLIEST wool and the GRIPPIEST of hooves for clip-clopping up cliffs. Only, Gertie doesn’t want to be the littlest. She’s in a rush to grow up and be just like THE BIG YAKS. But what if there are some things that only a GERTIE can do? A gorgeous story celebrating YOU being perfect…just the way you are!

Olivia Rose Deane and Rachel Bird join the cast of A Christmas Carol at The Albany Theatre.

★★★★★ “Gloriously charming and heartwarming.” – StageTalk

In Dickensian London this Christmas, not all is as it seems. The fog descends, the lights flicker, and strange things start happening to Ebenezer Scrooge. Join us at The Albany Theatre for this atmospheric re-telling of Charles Dickens’ enduring tale of redemption.

Watch in awe as objects come to life on the stage, be entranced by singing and movement and let your heart be warmed by the transformation that unfolds in front of you – the magic of Christmas and the magic of theatre combining for an unforgettable experience.

From the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, to the plucky Cratchits, this is an adaptation that draws you in, that pulls you forward in your seat and holds you mesmerised from the very first “Bah Humbug”.

Written by our artistic director Alan Po***ck and performed by a professional cast, this is a magical festive treat you won’t want to miss!
