Love Muscle a pumping queer dance party Love Muscle is a real LGBTQ alternative for the more discerning night life enthusiast.

With a scene that only aspires to the lowest common denominator of lip-sync lip service, terrible cheesy pop and pink profit above taste and decency; it would seem we have a mandate for a man-date. Taking inspiration from such broad churches as The Paradise Garage, The Gallery, The Sound Factory and The Warehouse we aim to deliver you from sonic evil with a heady heavenly mix of funk, soul, techno and disco. ITS OUR BIRTHDAY 🎈

Well that came round quickly! What an amazing 12 months we have had celebrating a decade of our little party. Huge thanks to everyone that supported us throughout the year and all the DJs that graced us with a good fu***ng time! It was especially lovely to spend such a glorious time dancing with you at We Out Here to bring proceedings to a close. Real life affirming stuff so thank you for all the love.

Shout out also to Outlaws and Hope House for housing our exhibition. Pulling together all those wonderful memories really reminded us how important and special our community is! The events have been really lovely and the majority of the exhibition is still up in Outlaws until the end of September!

FIRST UP to kick off our 11th season, its our birthday with none other than Love Muscle veteran and friend of the party SHY ONE!

There is not more to say other than she is quite simply one of our favourite DJs and we couldn’t think of anyone better to get our hips moving after the summer break.

Residents on the night will be Michael Upson & Lucy Locket.

Tickets on Sale Friday 18th Sept

Kim is also an unreal DJ with a fantastic record collection of the best house music. She last played for us in 2020 just before the pandemic which feels like a lifetime ago! So she is well overdue a return!
