The Art of Cabaret and Burlesque

The Art of Cabaret and Burlesque The Art of Cabaret and Burlesque, is an exciting new course for those who wish to learn a mixture of skills merged though Cabaret and Burlesque.

The lessons will be taught by The Cabaret Pin up girls lead choreographers/ Performers. Who, when not teaching are touring venues in and around Suffolk. They hold vintage 1920-40s evenings, where the audience is encouraged to dress up in the selected era and are entertained by live musicians and cabaret acts. The Lessons will give you the chance to work on your own act, which, could also be put in

to a showcase for all the students, if desired. However, you would prefer to just take part in the lessons, we will explore a wide range of dance styles, including, Ballet, Jazz, Belly Dancing, Ballroom etc. This will give you all a glimpse into the endless array of styles and ways of using the body in a beautiful, enticing and elegant way. We will look at theatre techniques and confidence building, to learn how to put on a top quality show and feel fantastic doing it! These lessons will give you strength, fitness and stamina as well as having the chance to enjoy learning short dance pieces within our selected genres and learning how to incorporate them into Cabaret and Burlesque.
