Aye,watching my son, Sam, embody Macbeth on stage was something beyond words. From the first whisper of Shakespeare’s poetry to the final echo of his bow, he held the audience spellbound. The intensity, the vulnerability, the sheer depth of emotion 🥰 it’s as if every heartbeat of the story pulsed through him.
The way he moves across the stage, the way his voice carries power and pain, the way he disappears so completely into the role. Wow it’s not just acting, it’s an awesome transformation indeed. I’ve always known my boy had courage running through his veins, but seeing him draw that flaming arrow on screen left me breathless. In that moment, his spirit burned brighter than the fire itself 😍steady, fierce, and full of heart. A mother’s instinct is always to protect, but watching our lovely Jamie,my sweet baby boy Sam ❤️ so fearless in that forest, I couldn’t help but smile through the tears. I saw not just an actor, but the brave little boy I raised, now standing tall for the world to see.
As a child, Sam’s imagination was boundless. Aye, it still is of course 🥰 I can still picture him racing barefoot across the Scottish grass, a stick for a sword and dreams too big for the sky. He’d weave grand adventures at bedtime 💕 and now, all these years later, he’s living them. From those playful make-believe days beneath the old stones of Kenmure to embodying Jamie Fraser with such soul and strength, that same spark in his eyes has never dimmed.

There’s something truly special about this moment 😊 not just as a proud mum, but as someone who’s watched the journey behind that smile. Seeing Sam sitting there, calm yet so full of purpose, holding The Cocktail Diaries in his hands, fills me with quiet joy and deep gratitude.
It’s been quite a road.. one built on hard work, determination, and endless curiosity. From those early days of searching for his place in the world to now sharing his own adventures and passions through his writing, it’s been incredible to witness his growth ❤️ not just as an artist, but as a human being.What I love most is how grounded he remains.
