You’re not alone.

One of the first things couples say to me is:

Hello Feb!

And goodbye to Jan, my busiest in a long time… so grateful to be busy. So much loveliness has been made and flown out of the studio this month.

A fun and busy month. Throw in plenty of muddy rugby and footy games, a random inset day, husband working away… it’s been a whirlwind!

HNY! (We can still say that right?)

A huge highlight of last year is 100% being a part of this amazing workshop at ✨ the whole day was a dream, I got to work with some of the most talented people I know in the industry, and watch in full magic making mode.

The weather gods were so kind to us too, a true end of summer sunshine day. Which gave all the photographers attending some incredible light and shots. Forever be grateful to them all for capturing our work so beautifully.

Hello! A little re-introduction from me for the new year and my lovely new followers, welcome! Here’s me being a donut in a gallery/furniture store in Zurich earlier this year... I’m in desperate need of some actual headshots, but when you’re on holiday with your besties since a-level art, both who are great photographers, you do as you’re told and pose at a cool desk for an impromptu photoshoot 😂❤️

With over 15 years design experience behind me, you will be in safe hands choosing me to create your wedding stationery. Ever since uni I’ve worked as a graphic designer, both in-house and freelance, then took the leap to go part time, then now full time with the business.

I set up Invites by Heather when my eldest was only 9 months old and going back to the 9-5 just wasn’t going to work for us a family. It was slightly bonkers looking back, starting a business with a small baby, but he was 100% the inspiration and driving force behind it all. Our daughter then joined the gang in 2020, and being able to work around them both and grow the business alongside raising two crazy kiddos is something I’m eternally grateful for and so privileged to be able to do.

My passion is creating beautiful stationery, each suite is made lovingly in my home studio, individual to you as a couple. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing the little touches I’ve made as a designer, will help make your day even more special. It is an honour to create that initial piece of excitement as it lands on your guests’ doormat, right through to those final touches on the big day.

As this year comes to a close, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. Thank you to all of my wonderful couples and clients who trusted me with such meaningful moments, your love stories are the heart of everything I create.

It was also such a joy to work alongside so many talented friends within the wedding industry this year. From save the dates to full on the day stationery, it has been an honour to play a small part in your celebrations.

We also managed some wonderful family moments, my brother kicked off the year getting married, my husband turned 40, and we had the trio of lifetime to Cape Town with our friends. We also had some sad times, losing my incredible uncle this year too. But we got through it all together, and my family have been so supportive of my business growing this year too.

I’m so excited to step into 2026, which is already shaping up to be a beautifully busy year filled with new designs, new love stories, and unforgettable moments. Here’s to what’s ahead 🤍✨

A little appreciation post 💞

In October I exhibited at for the first time. I’d planned to do it 2024, but life got in the way and Ami, the wonderful woman behind it all was so kind and caring, I knew instantly that when the 2025 fair was announced I wanted to be a part of it.

Over 2 days at I was welcomed in and looked after by a crew of incredible suppliers. All so talented and genuinely lovely.

I truly love my job, I’m creating magic for one of the most important days of your life, it’s an honour to be trusted to make your stationery. The reality of the day is me, at my desk on my own. So opportunities to meet and collaborate with other wedding industry creatives is something Iove just as much.

I got to work with the lovely Syreeta again, and with Adele who I only met on the day and instantly clicked with 💞 our space in the library was so beautiful, everything came together so well. I met Instagram pals in real life like for the first time after years of chatting too.

Everyone there was there to cheerlead for each other, the whole vibe of the day was community over competition.

Now as a result I have 3 gorgeous bookings, (so far 😍) with 3 wonderful couples I met at the fair, and most importantly, will get to work alongside several of the other lovely suppliers they also booked with.

So, thank you again for supporting us all and championing small businesses that all make up this lovely wedding world of ours 💞✌🏻🥰
