The Only Business Club will be fluid and dynamic in terms of its structure and format.
The club membership will be restricted ONLY by the fact that there is only to be one of any trade or profession allowed. For example, if you are a hairdesser you will be THE ONLY hairdresser amongst the membership. This will give you unrivalled opportunities to network within the group and promote your busin...ess exclusively to other members.
We will hold monthly meetings on a Friday night 6 till 8 at various venues. We will look to meet in interesting venues, and devote time to self-promotion through speed-networking, presentations from outside "experts" and from members.
Membership is open to people from businesses of any size, but new and small business owners are particularly encouraged and welcomed.
Membership fees are fixed at £8 per month and will take the form of a standing order donation to the children and young people's charity - Helping Hands.
Helping Hands is a small, Kent based charity whose aims are twofold; it will raise money to make grants to small charities and causes affecting children and young people and will also establish a fund to provide micro-finance and ongoing support to start-up businesses where children and/or young people will directly or indirectly benefit.
Members donations may be gift-aided to increase the value of their donation to £10, without extra cost.
Throughout the year members will have full access to the membership database for marketing purposes and will benefit from presentations from experts on topics such as finance, banking, marketing, social media and specific items such as The Budget.
As soon as we have some confirmed numbers, we will announce the first meeting date :)
