We are proud to announce that a new Parents, Teachers and Friends Association has been formed at New Hall Primary School called ‘The Friends of New Hall’. As the parents, teachers, carers, guardians and grandparents of the New Hall pupils, you are a Friend of New Hall and we invite you to become involved in our new events. The main aims of the PTFA are to organise events which raise money to go to
wards enhancing our children’s education and experiences at school. We hope to raise money to provide extra curricular activities, fund trips and new equipment within the school and fund new projects to enhance our children’s skills and knowledge. We hope this will be achievable by organising and hosting a range of fun, exciting social events aimed at all the family. We also hope that working together will further develop the positive relationships between parents, teachers and pupils within the school and encourage good communication between everyone. The Friends of New Hall so far consists of a small committee of six parents and Mrs Hemming, as our lead teacher. Every time we organise an event we will let you know by email, so look out for them and feel free to get involved with anything you are interested in. And don’t forget - grandparents / aunties / uncles /sisters /brothers can get involved too, because in order for events to be a success, we need everyone’s support and help! The first event we are organising is a Christmas Disco on Friday 15th December. To volunteer to help at the disco or donate cakes or biscuits, please call into the School reception and leave your details. The disco letter, containing all the information you need, will be emailed to you on Monday. Thank you,
Kathryn Taylor
