Clear home, clear mind.
This definitely applies to me. How about you?
I read something recently about 'closing loops'. This idea that unfinished tasks, shoes strewn across the hallway, mugs left on the side, calls yet unmade, and so on, create a mental load that chips away at our sense of calm and clarity.
The physical space we inhabit often becomes our mental and emotional space too.
I've started using this 'close the loop' expression with my ten-year-old as an invitation to have him look around a space and see what needs closing off. So far, it's working. And, my hope is that it will build his ability to proactively contribute to a clutter-free environment 🤞🏼
So, when this June Decluttering Challenge landed in my inbox, I leaped at the chance to be guided through simple daily steps to clear my physical space, with the intention that it can clear my headspace too.
If you're feeling overwhelmed in your home and in your head, why not join me in this June Decluttering Challenge and make room for what really matters.
Summer is here, and no doubt the motivation for spending hours of your time cleaning, decluttering, and doing housework isn't that high!
