đ ĂGHĂSĂ KEDJOM FESTIVAL 2026 â WHAT A DAY! đ
What began as an idea to bring our people together has now become a beautiful reality.
The first edition of ĂGHĂSĂ KEDJOM FESTIVAL 2026, held on Sunday, 23rd August at the OlĂ©mbe Annex A Stadium in YaoundĂ©, was nothing short of spectacular!
From the football pitch to the cultural arena, from our children to our elders, the day was filled with culture, talent, entertainment, unity, community spirit and joy. â€ïž
✠And what a football final!
After a highly competitive encounter, Nkozoa emerged champions, winning the final through a dramatic penalty shootout 3â1. Congratulations to Nkozoa and well done to all the participating quarters for the excellent spirit of competition and fair play.
đ BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAMME
One of the most touching moments of the day was the presentation of support to approximately 80 students, covering nursery, primary, secondary and university levels.
In addition, 8 beneficiaries received cheques of 25,000 FCFA each to assist them in preparing for the new academic year.
This is what our motto, âA Gift That Keeps Giving,â truly represents â investing in our children today for a better Kedjom tomorrow.
đ The festival was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Fon Vutsiboung Benjamin Vubangsi, whose support and presence added great meaning to this historic first edition.
We also express our sincere gratitude to Mama Senator Ma Reginal Mundi for her tremendous support, as well as to all the partnering institutions, sponsors, donors and well-wishers who responded to our appeals and contributed towards making this day possible.
đđœ To the Kedjom Keku CentreâSouth Coordinators, the organising committee, quarter heads, quarter presidents, social groups, youths, volunteers, participants and every person who contributed in one way or another â THANK YOU!
A special appreciation also goes to our hosts and entertainers, MC The Mic Master and Ntomeloh 1 of Kedjom Keku, for keeping the atmosphere alive and making the celebration even more memorable. đ€đ„
And to every Kedjom son and daughter, family, friend, neighbour and guest who came out in numbers â you made the festival what it was.
The massive mobilisation, the unity, the enthusiasm and the willingness to celebrate together showed us something very important:
Our people were hungry for a moment like this.
ĂGHĂSĂ KEDJOM FESTIVAL 2026 has shown what is possible when we put aside our differences, come together and contribute what we can.
This is only the beginning.
Let us preserve this spirit.
Let us support our children.
Let us encourage our youths.
Let us promote our culture.
Let us support our talents.
Let us continue giving back to our community.
And yes⊠let us start preparing for the next edition! đđ„
