Exclusive photography exhibition in Montreux. Denis O’Regan, Queen: Forever, An Intimate Portrait

From 2 to 6 September, as part of Freddie Days, come and discover a photography exhibition dedicated to Queen and Freddie Mercury at the Hôtel Helvétie in Montreux, seen through the lens of the renowned photographer Denis O’Regan.

A legendary photographer, Denis O’Regan has worked with some of the world’s greatest artists, including David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Duran Duran. He also accompanied Queen at the height of their career, capturing Freddie Mercury with a unique, intimate and authentic perspective.

Denis O’Regan will be present in person during the exhibition.

Du 2 au 6 septembre, dans le cadre des Freddie Days, venez découvrir à l’Hôtel Helvétie à Montreux une exposition photo consacrée à Queen et Freddie Mercury, à travers l’objectif du célèbre photographe Denis O’Regan.

Photographe de légende, Denis O’Regan a travaillé avec certains des plus grands artistes au monde, notamment David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd et Duran Duran. Il a également accompagné Queen au sommet de sa carrière, capturant Freddie Mercury avec un regard unique, intime et authentique.

Denis O’Regan sera présent en personne durant l’événement.

The band takes you on a journey through time through the hidden gems of the legendary British quartet. The set is made up exclusively of deep cuts, rare tracks, sometimes never performed live, sure to delight the biggest Queen fans. A new part of the Freddie Days 2026 programme has just been announced on our website ✨ A new series of names have been added to the line-up to complete what is already shaping up to be an exceptional edition, between Freddie Mercury's 80th birthday and the 30th anniversary of his statue in Montreux. Other artists, bands and musicians will be announced shortly, along with a few nice surprises. Don't Stop Queen Now is one of the UK's most impressive tribute bands, passionately recreating the energy and magic of Queen concerts. To discover Sunday September 6, 2026 in a free concert in Montreux!

At the centre of the group is Michael Spence (aka Mickey Callisto), an artist noted for his win on ITV1's Starstruck and for his semi-final appearance on Britain's Got Talent, where his masterful performance of Who Wants to Live Forever triggered a standing ovation. He also went viral with the Bohemian Rhapsody flashmob shot in the streets of Paris: a video that became a global phenomenon, racking up over 550 million views on social networks.

Alongside James Perkin (guitar, vocals), George Fayle (bass, vocals), Liam Latham (drums, vocals) and Dave Sayer (keyboards), Mickey Callisto puts on a spectacular show, musically impeccable and visually powerful, paying tribute to Queen's legacy while adding a touch of authenticity and freshness.

For all those who unfortunately did not have the chance to get a ticket for the official evening at the Casino de Montreux, we remind you that Freddie Days, from September 2 to 6, offer you four days of concerts, entertainment and shows completely free by the lake, Right next to Freddie mercury statue.

And on Saturday night September 5th, a great Queen Silent Disco, organised with Silent-disco Musical Event, where we will sing, dance and party until 02:00 in the morning to properly celebrate Freddie Mercury’s 80th birthday.

Headphones rental is offered at a voluntarily low rate, CHF 10. - only, and on site you will find everything for your comfort, bars, lounge area, seating, and an amazing atmosphere.
